Go online with your computer or mobile phone to sign up. It takes about 3 minutes. https:\\portal.Butte-Housing.com	Once logged in, click the Apply to Waiting List button in the portal and follow the instructions.

When the lottery is performed, applicants will be chosen randomly and added to the wait list. All applicants will be notified by mail and e-mail regarding selection status. Not everyone is guaranteed housing.	If selected for the waiting list and you name nears the top of the list, HACB will contact you to determine your eligibility for a Housing Choice Voucher. It is your responsibility to make sure your contact information is correct. If we cannot contact you, you will be removed from the list.

General Eligibility Requirements
You do not have to be a resident of Butte/Glenn Counties to apply, however voucher recipients will need to live in Butte or Glenn county for at least one year before moving out of Butte or Glenn counties.

    ✓ You must be 18+
    ✓ You must be legally documented in the U.S.
    ✓ Anyone can be considered part of your household. You do not have to be related.
    ✓ You must meet the income eligibility requirements. Please see the table below.

Income Eligibility Requirements
In order for a family to be eligible for federal housing assistance in Butte/Glenn Counties, the total household income must not exceed these established yearly income limits as listed on the table.

Income limits effective date begins April 18, 2022.
